Every woman of Mar Thoma Church above the age of 18 years is a member of Sevika Sangam. Qatar Marthoma Sevika Sangam set its basis in 1974 with the approval of Most Rev. Dr. Alexander Marthoma Metropolitan, the then Head of the Mar Thoma Syrian Christian Church of Malabar. Run by our faith, this pathway became solid and our seniors made it smoother for us to carry out the on-going doctrine of love, care and belief.

“But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor does the hope of the afflicted ever perish.” Psalm 9:18. This is the strength of our organization. The prayer and participation of each individual makes this a unique community which brings relief to the deprived in our family, church and region.
