Message from Assistant Vicar

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."
— Psalm 126:3
Dear Beloved in Christ,
Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
It is with a heart full of gratitude and humility that I have joined Immanuel Marthoma Church, Doha, Qatar, as your Assistant Vicar, beginning this journey of ministry together in May 2025 for the next three years.
I thank God for the opportunity to serve this vibrant and faithful congregation. I am deeply aware that this calling is not by merit but by God’s grace, and I step into this role with prayerful anticipation, seeking to walk alongside you in faith, fellowship, and service. I thank all the parish members for the warm welcome and greetings I received.
As Paul wrote to the Philippians, "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now." (Philippians 1:3-5)
Let us grow together as a Christ-centered community—worshiping, witnessing, and working hand in hand for the glory of God and the extension of His Kingdom. I look forward to getting to know each of you, sharing in your joys and burdens, and together discerning God’s will for our church and our lives.
May the Lord bless our journey together and make us instruments of His peace, love, and transformation.
With love and prayers,
Rev. Aneesh Raju
Assistant Vicar, Immanuel Marthoma Church, Doha
